How to enhance the taste of Maggi?

Below are my personal tips and 5 ways to make your Maggi taste better.

Don’t Overcook The Noodles

Maggi is the best when it’s cooked only to around 80% of its capacity as it is overcooked and the noodles become gooey and lose their nice texture. Slightly undercooked noodles have the best texture and make your Maggi look and taste much better.

Chopped Fresh Coriander At The End Makes Maggi Extra Tasty

Adding a sprinkling of fresh coriander on top of your Maggi recipe makes it taste fresh & homemade instantly. Fresh coriander gives you that complete Indian-style Maggi feeling and a lovely aroma.

A Pinch Of Turmeric Powder And Red Chilli Powder Adds To The Magic

I always add a pinch of turmeric powder and red chilli powder to the oil in pan before add onions or vegetables. This allows the spices to release their fragrance into the oil and gives my dish a wonderful colour and depth of flavours.

Eating More Vegetables Creates A Healthy & Filling Maggi

At times, I will add extras (carrots, peas & capsicum) to my Maggi to make it healthier & more filling. Additionally, the extra veggies will provide the Maggi with a natural sweetness and texture, and will not change the original taste of your Maggi.

Use Rock Salt & Add It After Adding Tomatoes

I always prefer using rock salt, and I add it only after the tomatoes are added. This simple step prevents the spices from burning and allows the tomatoes to cook properly. It also helps keep the flavors of the spices and tomatoes well balanced.

What are the different flavors of Maggi?

Why is Maggi so comforting?

My personal experience with maggi

For me, Maggi isn’t a just noodle it’s a total comfort food for me. Every time I’m in the mood for something nice and spicy or don’t want to cook an elaborate meal, I turn to my Maggi to give me an instant pick-me-up.

I recall vividly the days when I was in school, where at times I did not have the desire to eat a full lunch, and my mom would make me some Maggi to take to school in my lunch box. Maggi was my food of choice, especially when I was sitting at my house, bored and looking for something to eat. When I smell the aroma of fresh Maggi cooking, it feels like home and makes me reminisce about those school days. There were always times during my schooling that I had Maggi in my lunchbox, and times that I’ve eaten it at 1:00 in the morning.

Over the years, I’ve developed my own specialty on how to prepare Veg Maggi, by adding numerous vegetables, homemade spices, and a few other little masala secrets. These added additions have made my version of Veg Maggi better tasting and a little healthier than the typical instant noodle product, while at the same time retaining the flavour of classic Maggi that I’ve always loved.
